मूंग या उर्द का पापड़ बनाने के लिए पहले आटे में नमक आदि सारी सामग्री मिलाकरआटे को बहुत ही कम पानी में जाता है।पानी आटे में चारों ओर बराबर से मिल जाए इसलिए इसकी लोहे या लकड़ी के मुसल से खूब कुटाई और खिंचाई होती है। तत्पश्चात इसे पापड़ बेलने वाले बेलन (मूंग उड़द का पापड़ बेलने के लिए अलग प्रकार का बेलन होता है) से बेलकर धूप में डालकर हल्का सुखा लिया जाता है। बस पापड़ तैयार है। इसे आप द्वारा मंगाने की देर है।
